05/06/10-07/31/10 - Shared Holding Pattern
2010

Created for the exhibition entitled We Have As Much Time As It Takes at The Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts

This site-responsive installation was formed by combining the materials available within my studio and the materials available and in storage at the Wattis Institute of Contemporary Arts. The installation materially manifests the collaborative interaction between my ongoing practice and the particular opportunity provided by the host site. The piece is inherently transient. Future iterations will be physically different from the initial iteration--composed of the materials available in my studio and the host institution at the time of their creation, and shaped in response to the particular situation and circumstantial conditions on site.
