Collective Undoing
This project is composed of hundreds of sheets of fabric, felt, and foam salvaged over the course of more than a decade from mattresses and box-springs dumped on the streets of San Francisco. These sheets of materials are neatly piled in a series of bed like stacks from which selected sheets are removed and pinned painting like to the surrounding walls.
