Begun during a residency at the
Kala Art Institute in 2007, this body of work, twenty-two of which are pictured here, exploits the diversity of the security tints within the envelopes that I continually receive in the mail.
These various iterations are produced by ruffling and reshuffling stacks of opened envelopes while paying close attention to the combination of forms and patterns revealed through the envelopes window cutouts.
Selected combinations are then scanned and eventually printed as unique giclée prints.
